This year Orokonui is offering photography workshops for all interested photographers.
The workshops are koha and include entry into the sanctuary for that day.

All workshops begin at 10am at our visitors centre. On arrival you will be asked to sign in and pay your koha (donation) for the day.
The workshops are approximately 1-2 hours in length and you are welcome to stay in the sanctuary until closing at 4:30pm.
Please bring: Your camera/gear, good walking shoes, and appropriate outdoor clothing.
May 23rd 2021 - Wildlife Workshop
This workshop will equip you with some tricks of the trade for wild animal photography.
Paul Sorrell is a local freelance writer and photographer who has collaborated on several books including the best selling Fleurs Place.
May 30th 2021 - Macro Workshop
This workshop will teach you how to take a closer look at the world around you and discover the amazing micro-world.
Craig McKenzie is a local wildlife photographer who has won many awards including Forest and Birds' Old Blue award.
June 6th 2021 - Perspective Workshop
This workshop will help you look at Orokonui from a different persepctive and discover new photography techniques to capture the world with.
Kevin Hill is a freelance photographer who has worked internationally photographing everything from wildlife to architecture.
