Annual Pass Holder Events

Being a member of Orokonui isn’t just about regular visits or supporting the sanctuary, its about being part of the sanctuary, our community, and our work. Our first members morning tea in July was a great opportunity to hear from Craig our lead educator about his mahi at the sanctuary.

With some great feedback about this event we are hoping to host them regularly going forward to provide an opportunity for a talk from one of our team about what’s happening at Orokonui, a special cafe deal, and an opportunity to catch up with the rest of the Orokonui member community.

Our next members morning tea will be on the Sunday 30th of August at 10:30am. Lead guide Madison Kelly will talk about how their mahi as an artist connects to their work at Orokonui, as well as an update into how guiding at Orokonui is developing and what exciting developments are happening in this space.
