Like many organisations around Aotearoa the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has affected us at Orokonui Ecosanctuary. Most of the money required to continue our important conservation and education work comes from visitors to the sanctuary, from both locals and people visiting Dunedin. As a charitable trust dedicated to protecting and promoting native wildlife we have had a tough time.
We need your help! A donation to Orokonui is a great way you can help the sanctuary continue its critical work protecting precious taonga such as kiwi, takahÄ, kÄkÄ, tuatara and many more that exist within the Orokonui fence, as well as educating and inspiring the next generation of conservation leaders with our education programme.
