Our local community is immensely important to us at Orokonui. So to ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience the wildlife that makes our local area so special. For the Labour day long weekend 24th-26th October sanctuary access is discounted to $10 for adults, $5 for children (5-18yrs), and $25 for families.
Whether you have visited before or if this is your first time exploring Orokonui you can learn more about our work with free talks in the sanctuary on Saturday and Sunday.
Our cafe will be open all weekend long including Labour Day. With no surcharge for the public holiday. Stop by to fuel up an enjoy the view between 10am-3pm.
For young explorers we have a free Orokonui Explorer’s kids activity available.
Explore the sanctuary 9:30am-4:30pm and fuel up at the cafe 10am-3pm.
